Midwest Bird Breeders & Exhibitors

Our club welcomes new members.  Like other clubs we begin with a small group of friends, Kim & Scott Mackey, Mi., Lisa Grimes, IL. Sandy Warren, IL. Lisa Garman, In., Judy Brumley, In., and Annette Howard, Oh.
We agree that a competitive bird show club is needed in the mid west, and wanted to form a club, but it is a huge undertaking requiring teamwork. That is when Kim & Scott Mackey lead the way with their combined leadership skills and cage bird club "fairs and Shows" experience.

Bird SHOWS are Bird Competitions and not Bird Fairs, Bird Sales or Bird Marts.  So many people get that wrong and it is confusing the general public, bird show beginners and experienced people as well!

A lot of time can be spent telling someone where a bird show is and all the while they were looking for a fair or a place where they could get a certain bird.

Some, although not all Bird Shows will be sponsored by a bird club that is also having their Bird Fair, a fund raising event for the bird club. ~ Judy B.
